Though I'm happy as can be San Diego, I truly miss the good ol' PNW!! I wish every month could consist of 3 weeks in San Diego, 1 week in Seattle or Portland. ;) Needless to say, Michelle & I took a trip to Portland this past weekend...because we found cheap tickets, an adorable place to stay, and delicious food was beckoning. I'll be back with lots more photos (food photos galore? get ready)... but wanted to share this photo from a hike we took on our last morning in PDX. One of the most amazing qualities of the PNW is the abundance of trees. So. Many. Gorgeous. Trees. And this hike was no exception! If you find yourself in Portland, don't miss Forest Park. It's incredible.

Hey! I just happened to stumble upon your blog this morning and I am glad I did! I love finding other CAlifornia based bloggers like myself. :) I have to say — I have never been to Portland but planning a trip later this summer with my husband, I can’t wait!
