When September hits, and students start going back to school, I get ever-so-nostalgic. It's not that I particularly want to fill my time with studying + homework... but I miss that feeling of starting something new! Since California doesn't lend itself to brisk, chilly autumn weather, I have to find other ways to remind myself that it's a wonderful NEW season!
