I just got my film back from the Portland trip, so here are a few more visuals. Sometimes, I wonder why I don't just take all my photos on my iphone (it's easier, so much lighter(!) and quicker)... but I just love film (especially because you have no idea how it will actually turn out!).
I also love travelling. I haven't spent any time overseas, but I've been fortunate enough to see some rad places within the US... and I'm super excited to be heading to Washington DC (Alexandria, Virginia to be specific) this weekend for a work trip. I'll be busy with a conference during the next few days, but am so looking forward to doing a little bit of exploring.
Do you guys have any recommendations for DC and/or Alexandria?! I'm obviously planning to check out the White house, Capitol, monuments, etc.... but if you have any lesser-known spots I should visit, DO TELL! Also-- food/coffee/ice cream suggestions? I know nothing, haha.
